Following the footsteps of my This is Blue Campaign, comes the epic Go Green Campaign. For those of you unfamiliar with what these two campaigns are about, it is an advertising campaign for an imaginary company. In this case the company is the color green. Throughout the campaign period I will develop several advertisements which could run on various media ranging from magazines, to the internet.
Because these are not real companies, no profit is made from any of these campaigns. They are simply done to better myself as a designer and artist. It is also my goal to help influence other artists to be creative and develope campaigns of their own.
Below are two 330×300 advertisements which would normally run on a web environment. Although this is not the standard size for advertisements so it would be resized before it could actually run.
In this advertisement I wanted to portray a friendly, out-going message. It grabs your attention from the page, because it is not what everyone is used to seeing. The message is subtle but effective. You will notice that I’ve also embedded the new Jessetalks “mascot” into the design. No, that’s not his real name though…. it’s just for the purpose of the campaign.
This advertisement is a little more straight forward. The message is displayed in the whole advertisement, and the viewer doesn’t have to look hard to see what it’s all about. The tagline effectively plays off the whole famous person endorsement sterotype.
