Radial Symmetry 2

My second take on radial symmetric art (the condition of having similar parts arranged around a central canvas).  The main goal of this project was to take a “slice” of the circle and rotate it around six pieces to form a intertwining design.  It was really a matter of drawing random lines in hopes of producing a decent design.  After it was all drawn out, I began to take further interest in figuring out how to take it from a jumbled mess to a clean cut piece.

I decided upon using various shades of gray to create an interesting and eye catching piece. The final product came out very well and I’m satisfied with it. Unfortunately the file size is too big to display it always rotating so you’ll just have to admire it stationary.

  1. I’ve been following this website for a while now and I really like the improvements you’ve made to your blog. I’m going to highly recommend this blog to everyone. I have very little doubt that it is extremely hard to apply this stuff in the real world. I really hope you get the issue resolved soon. I’ve truly enjoyed browsing your site posts. Ever get overwhelmed by writing all these great articles?
