August’s New Music Spotlight features the musical talents of Brad Doggett .  His rhythmic raspy voice quickly draws your attention to his ability to sing in variety of music styles.  Brad has taken songs like “Hey Ya” from Outkast and transformed them into master pieces with his personal acoustic touch. Even the classics like “Blackbird” from the Beatles have been improved by Brad.

Today we are featuring Brad’s cover of “Sweetest Girl” by Wyclef Jean and his collaboration single “On My Way.”  Unfortunately we were not able to get the lyrics for On My Way, but we will update this post as soon as they become available.

New Music Spotlight

New Music Spotlight 7.1.08 – Kevin Bazinet

Kevin Bazinet, a talented sixteen year old boy, greets the world with his first single: “Can You Feel?” Pursuing a dream in music long before his talents were recognized Kevin has actively worked on composing his own lyrics and songs. However much of what he writes has been inspired by his musical heroes: Jesse McCartney, Gavin DeGraw, James Blunt, and John Mayer. Together with his inspiration he has been successfully been able to convert his feelings and emotions into strong uplifting tunes.

“Can You Feel” celebrates a healthy passion for love, admiration, and relationships.

Song Lyrics:

I can still feel you when you’re away
I need everything you are
And you’ll be
And when you smile
I’m dazzled
And when you cry
I want to be
Oh can you feel?
Oh can you feel?

I want you in my arms this morning
I’m going to need you by my side today
I want you in my bed tonight
And I’m gonna need you in my dreams
I want you there
And I need you when you’re grown
I’m not lying when I tell you I love you

That I love you
Oh can you feel?
My love
Can you feel?

No matter what the people say
Don’t worry about the distance
Oh for you I can, for you I will
Each time that I see you
I’m falling in love, again

And let’s go there… Again
Oh I need… to feel your love
And I need… to feel your love
And I need… to feel your love
Can you feel?

Music Spotlight Plan

New Music spotlight coming soon

A few days ago I promised I’d get a new video up by today. As you can see, that hasn’t really happened. With only four hours left in the day (Hawaii time) it doesn’t look good. So I suppose I should babble out a few excuses as to why I’ve neglected to post the video up in time.  Well, it’s simple… I’m actually still working on it. I’m working on a few videos to be honnest.

One of my subscribers pitched the idea to me that it would be a great idea to feature new an aspiring artists.  You know, the normal youtuber who’s trying to get their start in the music world.  I thought this was a great idea.  This is the main reason as to why “This is Me” wasn’t posted… yet.  I’ve been scouring the internet looking for some talent on youtube.  I won’t say who I’ve picked to be the first ever “New Music Spotlight” on my channel, but I can say it’s a good one.  Maybe you’ve even seen some of his videos.

Anyway, I probably shouldn’t promise an actual date this time around.  However I do plan to get both videos up really soon. I appologize for my failure to follow through. It’s coming though… be patient.
